Pesto Bread 🍃


How proud I am of this recipe! Basil season is here and this delicious pesto bread is such a yummy idea to celebrate it🤤 Go ahead and try it, I promise it's worth it ✨ ✨


– Bread:
o 300g. Flour
o 160g. Milk
o 50g. Olive oil
o 20g. Fresh yeast
o A spoonful of honey
o One teaspoon of salt
*One egg yolk to brush on the bread before baking.

1. Mix all the bread ingredients together and knead for ten minutes.
2. Cover and leave to rest for at least one hour.
3. In the meantime, prepare the pesto by putting all the ingredients in a mortar and pestle until you get a texture you like.
4. After the resting time, roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
5. Make a rectangle and spread the pesto all over the surface.
6. Roll the dough, cut it in two parts and create the braid (in the video on my Instagram you can see how to do it, it’s easy🥰).
7. Brush the pesto bread with an egg yolk (to make it shine) and bake for about 30 minutes at 200ºC.
